Training and coaching services offered by fineo Ltd in the field of banking and financing
can be divided into four main sections:
We offer a range of public courses. An important building block is the Foundation Course in Banking & Finance, which, presently, is on offer in German (three times a year) and in English (twice a year). Participants of these courses are generally banking staff or staff of financial institutions, who are not necessarily trained in banking. The course attendees wish to obtain an overview of matters, most important in banking business in a relatively short period of time. In collaboration with the Swiss Derivative Institute (of which fineo Ltd is a co-founder), public foundation courses and master classes are offered on the subject of structured products.
In addition to public courses, our main focus is on in-house training, in which clients' bespoke requirements are individually addressed and course contents are tailored to suit. An integral component of the established in-house training courses is the Foundation Course in Banking & Finance, which is supplemented by a range of teaching formats relating to the business of investment and lending. Different to the public courses on offer, which can be attended by various individuals, in-house training courses are designed specifically for the needs of companies, which wish to choose this teaching format for the further development of staff skills.
Our e-learning platform fineo.elso.ch is available as a support for all our public courses, as well as, our in-house courses. It is a very useful tool for preparing and following up learning contents covering the topics of portfolio management, fixed income investments, equities, banking, economics and mathematics.
The subject specific coaching is aimed at entire teams continuously increasing their knowledge in relation to specific fields. As part of this training, teams are supported in managing daily problems. This is achieved by working together in creating solutions, with appropriate basic and applied knowledge being acquired in the process.
