Course requirements
Participants in the Foundation Course in Banking & Finance are generally banking staff or staff of financial institutions, who are not necessarily trained in banking. The course attendees wish to obtain an overview of matters, most important in banking business in a relatively short period of time. Thus, there are no specific entry requirements for this course.
Course enrolment
Enrolment is available on-line, using the enrolment form on the fineo Ltd homepage. We are also happy to accept applications by phone or e-mail (info@fineo.ch). Receipt of application is confirmed via return e-mail. The right to attend the chosen course is obtained once payment of fees has been received. fineo Ltd reserves the right to cancel the course due to insufficient number of participants. Notification of cancellation will be sent at least two weeks prior to scheduled commencement. In such an event, fee payment received will be fully refunded.
Cancellation
Enrolments can be cancelled in writing up until four weeks prior to the scheduled commencement of the course. If cancellation is made less than four weeks prior to course commencement, course fees will be charged in full.
Billing
Terms of payment are within 30 days of receipt of invoice. A place for the participant on the relevant course is confirmed once payment has been received by fineo Ltd.
Substitute for non-delivered services
In the event of courses not taking place due to either acts of God or as a result of fineo Ltd's actions, alternative dates for courses will be offered. Should one or more sessions not be able to be held in fineo Ltd's class rooms, suitable teaching accommodation will be provided elsewhere. In each of the above cases, fees will not be reimbursed.
Copy rights and other intellectual rights
All teaching material is protected either by copyright or by other intellectual rights. In particular, participants are not permitted to duplicate or copy these materials, or extracts thereof.
Law and place of jurisdiction
Completed contracts are subject exclusively to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for all possible litigation proceedings pertaining to this contract is the registered office of fineo Ltd (presently, Zurich).
